Cadet Accused of Sexually Assaulting Man on Air Force Academy Campus
On September 12th, Ex-Cadet 1st Class Jacob Cook was sentenced to prison for 30 months, two and a half years, for child pornography charges. Jacob Cook used a hidden cellphone to record two girls when they undressed and showered at his father’s house.
The cadet was pursued by internet crimes detectives once Twitter alerted authorities that Cook was uploading child pornography. Authorities found hundreds of questionable pictures on Cook’s electronic equipment. In court, he admitted to having a fetish for young teen-aged girls.
On the morning of September 20th, an Article 32 hearing was held for U.S. Air Force Academy Cadet 1st Class Steven R. Fox who is accused of sexually assaulting a victim in his dorm room. The prosecution argued that the victim yelled for him to stop, and that Fox also rubbed his genitals against the victim’s leg while the victim was asleep.
The Defense fought these claims showing that Fox had been on multiple dates with the victim before these incidents occurred where the two would undress, consensually, without engaging in sex.
