[Editor’s Note: One of our readers brought this to our attention. Vermont Gov. Phil Scott is expressing his support for the Legislature to investigate the culture Vermont National Guard.]

Col Thomas “TJ” Jackman, the married commander of the Vermont Air National Guard, was forced to resign after he used an F-16 jet to fly to a work conference and a meeting with a female Army colonel who worked at the Pentagon. They had been exchanging flirtatious messages. His callsign is “Snatch”.

When this was discovered by his superiors, Col Jackman was stripped of his F-16 and required to fly home on a commercial flight.

The Vermont Air Guard has recently fallen under a high level of scrutiny with VTDigger.com revealing what they have dubbed a “flying fraternity of sexed-up renegade pilots who abuse alcohol, mistreat women and receive special treatment by superiors”.
