Ralph Abraham Appears in Air Force Style Uniform for Political Ads

Civil Air Patrol Ralph Abraham
Not just the jacket, Ralph Abraham wears full Air Force style uniform to campaign against legit West Point Graduate

I couldn’t believe the brainwashing piece that came out of Advocate reporter Mark Ballard on September 2nd suggesting that Ralph Abraham merely wears his Civil Air Patrol jacket “a lot” but was totally legit because he wasn’t wearing the full Air Force Style uniform. Here’s what Ballard wrote:

In his run for governor, Abraham, now a member of the U.S. House Armed Services Committee, is careful with his terminology. He may wear his Civil Air Patrol jacket, a lot, but it’s more as fashionable accessory with blue jeans. Wearing the complete uniform is improper under U.S. Department of Defense directives that outline what active and veteran armed forces personnel can do in a political campaign.

That’s absolute baloney! A head shot in the CAP Air Force flight jacket with a dark green collared shirt would be all that would be needed to deliver the fraudulent perception message. I mentioned this journalist’s ridiculous spin to a fellow crew member who laughed and retorted that a disgraceful Ralph Abraham, per her Green Beret friends, was already wearing the full Air Force style sage green flight suit in some photos in front of the American flag. She said he had absolutely worked either the full uniform or a green shirted substitute onto his Twitter feed image overlaid with his campaign supporters and was trashing the stench of his oppositions.

She sent me all these images which I am now sending to you.

Ralph Abraham is in violation of Civil Air Patrol regulations and the spirit of not using the trimmings of the US military, in this case an Air Force uniform, to enhance his own political campaign. Civil Air Patrol members have stated this on their public CAPTalk forum:

CAPM 39-1, Page 9-10
https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/media/cms/M391_E6F33EAAEC28A.pdf

1.2.7. When NOT to wear the CAP Uniform.

1.2.7.4. While furthering political activities, private employment or commercial interest.

I see that one of your authors has also targeted his violation of 501c3 regulations. I don’t understand that as well, but someone should be looking into it with the Internal Revenue Service.

More crucially, here is a review of the rules for all genuine military members that would be a part of any Total Force:

1. Political bumper stickers on a military members’ personal vehicle are allowed, but large banners or signs are not. Such banners or posters are not allowed to be displayed at the military member’s residence, either.

2. Military members can attend rallies or fundraising activities as long as they’re not in uniform and not creating the appearance of any military sponsorship or approval.

3. Military members are not permitted to speak before a partisan political gathering, including any gathering that promotes a partisan political party, candidate, or cause, participate in any radio, television, or other program or group discussion as an advocate for or against a partisan political party, candidate, or cause, or conduct a political opinion survey under the auspices of a partisan political club or group or distribute partisan political literature.

If you look at this additional image she sent to me, Ralph Abraham is wearing the Air Force style flight jacket while suggesting that a Democratic governor and graduate of West Point is generating the stink of corruption in the Louisiana Governor’s Office.

Not sure if you care, but pilot and former North Carolina GOP-boss Robin Hayes has pleaded guilty and faces up to 6 six years in prison.

  2. Ralphie has been wearing his CAP uniform and using the CAP for political gain in his election campaigns and fundraising events since 2013 while the IRS looks the other way. The laws apply to the citizens, but not the lawmakers it seems.

U.S. Rep. Ralph Abraham was a medical doctor as well as a pharmacy owner in northeast Louisiana, so he has a record as an elected official and a prescriber as well as a buyer and a seller.

I know you guys are looking for members of Civil Air Patrol who are democrats getting caught in crimes. This story won’t help you there, but our Republican Pennsylvania State Senator Mike Folmer has been charged today with sexual abuse of children, possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility.

Such gross disregard for anything that resembles integrity, ethics, and decency. Abraham is an embarrassment to the United States, the state of Louisiana, the Air Force and the Civil Air Patrol.

  7. No wonder our Congress is literally the laughing stock of the world. I cannot believe that the US voters have put this imbecile in the House & Congress. Doesn’t reflect well on our country and the civil air patrol….. What a joke!

  8. My original intent was to vote for Abraham. Seeing that he supports the Civil Air Patrol by wearing the CAP uniform in his political TV commercials and in person, it now has me voting for Eddie Rispone.

  9. I just wish there was some accountability left in this world.

    Breaking News: There isn’t!

Per Mark Ballard, we’d believe that LA metro-sexual “Porcelain” Ralph Abraham wears his sage green Air Force Flight jacket “as fashionable accessory with blue jeans.”

Well damn, doctor, that sure beats squat pissing in some third world jungle with Green Berets who don’t respect you laughing at your lily white behind.

  12. It seems that the only people NHQ is fooling is themselves. It’s like the kid who denies any wrongdoing while his hand is still stuck in the cookie jar.

Everyone knows the “leadership” at NHQ is corrupt.

It’s the talk the senior members have outside at every squadron meeting. It’s the talk in the underground CAP media. It’s the talk in the back hallways in the Wing, Region and National Conferences.

In addition to NHQ, there are cover-ups at Region and Wing levels that are so blatant it insults our intelligence to think otherwise.

  13. Shameful. We claim “Total Force” out of one side of our mouths and then do this when it suits our politics. This is a total farce violation of CAP and Air Force Core Values.

  14. Easy to recognize two smaller Civil Air Patrol men fluffing up the taller more electable flagpole. At least Mark Smith and Ed Phelka are not humping his leg.

It is a sad that Ralph has so stupidly squandered an opportunity with such transparent moves organized by CAP’s gangsters.

If opioid profiteering Ralph Abraham can do this, then why did Civil Air Patrol shut down Nick Cooper’s Atheist counseling program for fund-a-mental Christians?
