EDGEWATER, MD (WJZ) — A small plane [Civil Air Patrol C-172R, N991CP] ran off the runway of Lee Airport in Edgewater earlier Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened at 12:57 pm, according to Anne Arundel County Fire.

The aircraft experienced a runway overrun and subsequent nose gear collapse upon landing at Lee Airport (ANP/KANP), Annapolis, Maryland.
