Col Charles D. Greene, CAP becomes commander of Civil Air Patrol’s Georgia Wing on February 11th 2002. He served until February 2005 and was succeeded by Col Lyle E. Letteer, CAP.

Charles Don Greene was listed as Southeast Region Inspector General with a duty position assignment date of 30 April 2008. Don Greene gave up this position and specifically told complainants that he was no longer serving, but Southeast Region commander Al Bedgood reported him actively serving in this role on the Southeast Region Website and in CAP’s internal eServices Management System.

Don Greene was still listed as Southeast Region Inspector General as late as March 2013.

As a result, Don Greene was receiving communications regarding abuses in Georgia Wing Civil Air Patrol.
